Hydrocopter
Petor 480 SAR hydrocopter
New mode of transportation
The Petor 480 SAR hydrocopter has been developed for professional use. Together with a several Firebrigade departments in Finland. Because of the cold nordic climate and challanging nature, we deside to build the airboats by welding polyethylene (High Molecular Weight Polyethylene – HWMPE).
Polyethylene is the most common plastic material in the world.
It is recyclable, chemically stable, nontoxic and environmentally sounds.
Therefore the polyethylene is very durable and requires literally no maintenance.
No doubt it is the perfect material for building vessels intended for heavy duty and professional use.
The airboats are welded from water cut sheets, and the hull structure has a honeycomb like structure. Because it ensures superior structural strenght.
